In recent decades, much experience has been accumulated in treating arteriovenous malformations (AVMs). This includes angiographic classification of AVMs, approaches, embolization materials, and treatment results. Treatment based on the angiographic pattern is a prerequisite for producing the best outcomes and avoiding complications. This session will explore the angiographic classification of AVM, various embolic materials, and complications of AVM treatment.

Learning Objectives:

Upon completion, participant will be able to classify types of the angiographic findings in peripheral AVMs.
Upon completion, participant will able to understand clinical implications of the angiographic classset upficatioins in peripheral AVMs.
Upon completion, participant will able to plan approprirate treatments according to the angiographic classification in peripheral AVMs.
