Recent technological advances have allowed virtual and augmented reality to be implemented across almost all specialties in medicine and Interventional Radiology is at the forefront of this technological movement. Radiographic data is now being used to create virtual and holographic displays that are then implemented in pre-procedural planning, education, tele-mentoring, and even real-time interventions. The session will highlight the uses of these technologies not just within the house of medicine, but within IR, and will also discuss the road ahead.
