This session highlights female gender specific obstacles and issue that both female physicians and feale patients face including imposter syndrome, medical gaslighting , and gender choice by patients.Our sessions are meant for all SIR attendees as the issues resonate with everyone working in interventional radiology. We hope to have a nice split between genders and our speakers are motivated to present topics that are thought provoking, informative, and beneficial for all in the audience.

Learning Objectives:

Participants will learn how female patient gaslighting still exists , causes, outcomes , and mitigation strategies.
After completion of the session , participants will have a good understanding of the effects of female misrepresentaiton in health care research and effects on female health.
After viewing this seesion, particp[ants will learn about the effects of imposter syndrome on productivity, self esteem, job satisfaction.
