This session will focus on the application of intravascular ultrasound in venous pathology, including the dialysis circuit, portal venous intervention, IVC pathology, May Thurner syndrome, IVC filter placement/retrieval, and TIPS placement.
The session will cover the appropriate indications, technical pearls, imaging findings, safety and efficacy of intravascular ultrasound applications in these settings. Relevant recent literature is reviewed in the session.

Learning Objectives:

To learn about the basics and applications of intravascular ultrasound to navigate endovascular systemic venous and portal venous interventions.
To learn about the findings of intravascular ultrasound for complex venous pathologies.
To apply intravascular ultrasound for precise stent placement in systemic veins and in the dialysis circuit.
