This is designed to be an advanced session showcasing the best practices form to improve liver ablation efficacy to maximize treatment of primary and metastatic liver cancers and minimize time and complications. Discussions will include Expanding Indications for thermal ablation, new ablative technologies, IR skills for improving guidance, synergy with other treatments, new technologies for guidance, planning and confirmation including robotics and artificial intelligence and evidence for immunotherapy

Learning Objectives:

Upon completion, participants will be able to understand the most up do date ablation techniques for treating Hepatocellular Carcinoma and Colorectal Carcinoma Metastasis to liver
Upon completion, participants will be able to understand how to best protect the diaphragm, bile ducts, bowel and gallbladder from thermal collateral thermal injury.
Upon completion, participants will be able to understand how new ablative modalities such as histotripsy will be used to treat liver tumors.
