To learn about existing and emerging technologies and techniques for procedural education and assessment in Interventional Radiology and other applicable areas of procedural medicine including hand motion analysis to assess proficiency, augmented reality, remote streaming support, funding and implementing a simulation program and other future directions.

Learning Objectives:

Describe the emerging technologies that can be employed to measure technical proficiency, teach through remote proctoring, and use simulation to enhance medical education.
Define some of the obstacles to implementing these technologies in medical education.
Apraise some of the available techniques from IR and other specialties and how they may enhance the educational experience and improve patient care.
