This session will teach the attendees about the initial work up for PAD. It will review imaging and diagnostic findings in patients with PAD. it will provide insight into best therapeutic adjunctive medications to improve patency of procedures. It will review the work up and treatment of patients with acute limb ischemia.
This session is designed to also highlight and demonstrate opportunities for developing a peripheral arterial practice as a practicing interventional radiologist. Direct patient marketing, marketing to referring physicians, the utilization of office space, the role of follow-up and clinic visits are a few of the many topics that will described by the speakers. Building and maintaining vascular volume while maintaining excellent outcomes and quality standards will be demonstrated by the speakers as they share their own personal experiences.
