There are unique challenges in the interventional treatment of pediatric cancers. Due to rarity of childhood cancers, the treatment is driven by national and international protocols. Using an organ system approach, this session will discuss the role of pediatric interventional oncology, from diagnosis to treatment.

Learning Objectives:

Upon completion, participants will understand the types of tumors that occur in children, and ages at which these are most prevalent.
Upon completion, participants will understand how to biopsy pediatric solid tumors and identify potential risks.
Upon completion, participants will understand interventional therapies, including embolization and ablation, for various types of pediatric tumors.
