Craig Broberg, MD MCR FACC, Victor Menashe Endowed Professor of Cardiovascular Disease and Radiology, is Director of the Adult Congenital Heart Program at Oregon Health & Sciences University (OHSU). His academic training has taken from San Francisco, Seattle, Portland, to London where he completed a two year fellowship in Adult Congenital Heart Disease and Cardiovascular Magnetic Resonance. Since returning to Portland in 2005, he has spearheaded CMR activity and led the ACHD program at OHSU. He has held grant funding from the National Heart Lung Blood Institute in the US, and the American Heart Association. He is a founding member and past president of the Alliance for Adult Research in Congenital Cardiology (AARCC), a multicenter research network. He has served on several committees including contributing to the 2018 ACHD guidelines. He has been given numerous research and educational talks internationally. He is fascinated by CMR physics but not a physicist, and enjoys the challenge of getting CMR methods to make sense to the lay public.
