Dr. Felder is Assistant Professor of Plastic Surgery and Co-Director of the Washington University Limb Preservation Program. He trained under Dr. Attinger at Georgetown and went on to pursue fellowship in hand and peripheral nerve surgery with Dr. Susan Mackinnon. His practice consists entirely of diabetic/vasculopathic limb salvage, amputations, and peripheral nerve surgery. His approach to soft tissue reconstruction has a strong emphasis on microsurgery and novel techniques in microsurgery. He has an active, multidisciplinary research group focused on rigorous outcomes research and shared decision making in this population.
