Dr. Caroline J. Huang is a Senior Science Policy Advisor in FDA’s Controlled Substances Program (CSP) in the Center for Drug Evaluation and Research. In this role, she oversees stakeholder engagement and strategic collaborations and communications across drug classes, as well as managing FDA’s opioid research portfolio. Prior to joining CSP in August 2020, Dr. Huang spent a year as a Staff Fellow in FDA’s Office of Women’s Health and completed a Bioethics Fellowship with the NIH Clinical Center. She holds an SB in Brain and Cognitive Sciences from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and a PhD (DPhil) in Public Health from the University of Oxford.
