Faith In Harm Reduction
As the Southern Director of Faith In Harm Reduction, Hill Brown is responsible for making meaningful connections between faith communities and organizations providing Harm Reduction services in the Southern United States. Brown writes sermon guidelines and theological one pagers for Christians interested in discussing Harm Reduction in their congregations; attends and presents at regional gatherings and webinars for people of faith; offers spiritual support to Harm Reductionists experiencing burnout; and stays up to date on state based policy issues in the region that effect people who use drugs. Previously, she was the Executive Director of Steady Collective, a Harm Reduction organization for people using drugs in Western North Carolina. She studied Journalism/Women's Studies at Auburn University
