Mark Jenkins, Founder and Executive Director, CT Harm Reduction Alliance
Mark is a service connected disabled Veteran of the United States Air Force, Founder / Executive Director of the Connecticut Harm Reduction Alliance, formerly Greater Hartford Harm Reduction Coalition as well as Reduce Harm Inc. and the United Syringe Trust. Mark, an individual with lived experience and long term recovery is well respected and widely known for his work in Harm Reduction and Public Health for the past twenty-five years, and for delivering innovative prevention/interventions to the most vulnerable members across the state of Connecticut. Having presented nationally and internationally on best practices for working with the drug-using community, he has built impactful community relationships, furthering cultivated progressive strategies for reaching and delivering services to the most difficult-to-reach populations.
