Current ORS projects and areas of interest:

As Drug Intelligence Officer assigned to New England HIDTA, Overdose Response Strategy and working in partnership with the Vermont ORS Public Health Analyst, I am deeply committed to bridging the gap between public health and public safety. Working as a team of DIO and PHA, we have had the opportunity to organize summits and several state wide meetings to facilitate information sharing initiatives. This collaborative approach helps to identify emerging trends and fosters a holistic understanding of the challenges we face to reduce the harmful consequences of substance use disorder and overdose. Our partnership with Brandeis University and our Drug Checking Project in Southern Vermont is one such example.
I continue to explore correlations between mental health and various social determinants. This research enables more effective interventions to support those struggling with substance use disorders.
