Stephanie N. Thompson, MPA

Stephanie N. Thompson is the Public Health Analyst for Vermont with the CDC Foundation and the New England High Intensity Drug Trafficking Areas (HIDTA) Program, assigned to the multi-state Overdose Response Strategy. Stephanie has a background in non-profit management, public administration and community engagement.

A Vermont native, she has served as Executive Director of a social service agency and a substance abuse prevention coalition, and a municipal administrator, prior to beginning her role with New England HIDTA.

Stephanie holds a Master’s in Public Administration for Norwich University and a graduate certificate in Forensic Criminology through the University of Massachusetts. In 2017, she was inducted into the Vermont State College Hall of Fame and was an honored guest for Leadership Upper Valley’s Heroes and Leaders Celebration, recognizing young community leaders.
