Dr. Rosalyn W. Stewart is professor of clinical medicine at the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. She holds a joint appointments in the Departments of Medicine and Pediatrics and the Departments of Population, Family and Reproductive Health at the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health and Community-Public Health at Johns Hopkins University School of Nursing. Her areas of clinical expertise include internal medicine, pediatrics, pediatric hospital medicine and addiction medicine.
Dr. Stewart is Chair of Pediatrics a Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center . She also serves as Director of the After-Care Clinic at the Johns Hopkins Outpatient Center and Director of the Substance Use Consultation Service at Johns Hopkins Hospital.
Dr. Stewart earned her M.D. from the University of Texas Medical Branch School of Medicine. She holds an M.S. degree in preventive medicine, with a focus on health disparities, from the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio.
Her research interests include medical education and clinical program development, health equity and community outreach and advocacy.
Dr. Stewart is a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics and the American College of Physicians and a member of the American Society of Addiction Medicine.
