Rachel Chernick, LCSW, PhD is the Senior Vice President, Family Services and Evaluation Research at the Partnership to End Addiction. She has many years of clinical, teaching, and research experience in the addiction arena. Her primary professional focus has been on adolescents and adults struggling with problematic opioid use. Her previous experience includes serving as Program Director of the Opioid Treatment Program at the Addiction Institute of New York at Mt. Sinai Hospital and working as a clinician in a variety of direct care services in New York City. Rachel has taught at the Silberman School of Social Work at CUNY Hunter College and worked in the research units at the New York City Department of Health in the Bureau of Drug and Alcohol Prevention, Care and Treatment and at the Columbia University Mailman School of Public Health. In her current role, Rachel provides programmatic and clinical oversite and leads research and evaluation activities for the Partnership’s suite of Family Services. She also serves as a subject matter expert on issues related to opioids, and the treatment of substance use disorders.
