As Law Enforcement Initiative Project Coordinator, Erin manages all phases of project management and delivery of special law enforcement programs for the Ohio Department of Public Safety (ODPS). Before transitioning to her current role, Erin served as ODPS Associate Legal Counsel, where she represented the OSHP Crime Lab.
In her more than eighteen years of state service, Erin was responsible for coordinating the State Board of Pharmacy’s efforts related to the Ohio Medical Marijuana Control Program. She also spent twelve years with the Ohio Attorney General’s Office (AGO), beginning her career as s a forensic scientist with the Bureau of Criminal Investigation (BCI) where she worked while attending law school. After earning her law degree, Erin defended state criminal convictions in federal court and then served as legal counsel to BCI. Before leaving BCI, Erin served as its Director of Administration.
Erin’s combined experience enabled her to publish a law review article in the Capital University Law Review discussing law enforcement issues involved with the illicit manufacturing of methamphetamine, and a technical publication in the DEA’s Microgram Journal, discussing a class of controlled substance analogs.
