Bennett Allen is an Assistant Professor at the NYU Grossman School of Medicine, where he is affiliated with the Center for Opioid Epidemiology and Policy. Current projects include an evaluation of New York City's overdose prevention centers, an evaluation of Rhode Island's expanded methadone access COVID-19 response policies, and the use of predictive analytics to forecast overdose trends. With over a decade of experience in substance use research, Bennett previously has worked with the NYC Department of Health and Mental Hygiene, NYC Mayor's Office of Community Mental Health, and Mount Sinai Beth Israel.
