Dr. Beth Dinges is a clinical pharmacist with VISN 12 Academic Detailing Service. She has been with the VA since graduating from University of Iowa in 2005. She did residency at Southern Arizona VA Healthcare System in Tucson, AZ and at VA San Diego Healthcare System. She helped establish PACT at VA San Diego in 2011 and moved to VISN 12 Academic Detailing Service in 2016. Under Academic Detailing, she works with the Oscar G. Johnson VA in Iron Mountain, MI and the VA Illiana Healthcare System in Danville, IL. She maintains clinical duties within PACT at the VA Illiana Healthcare System where she helped establish the VAs first syringe program in 2017. She is passionate about evidenced-based medicine and harm reduction. She is committed to spreading syringe access and harm reduction throughout the VA, with an emphasis on removing unnecessary barriers to care and access.
