Mike Krafick is a Certified Recovery Specialist (CRS) and the CRS Supervisor with The Armstrong-Indiana-Clarion Drug and Alcohol Commission where he has worked since 2010. Mike is a person in long-term recovery, he celebrated 14 years of recovery in April 2022. He is a Recovery Coach and a Recovery Coach Trainer as well as a trainer for the Pennsylvania Certification Board Recovery Specialist Curriculum.
Mike is responsible for the direct supervision of 10 CRS staff in Armstrong, Indiana, and Clarion Counties. Working as a CRS has given him the opportunity to give back and help others achieve recovery. As an overdose survivor himself, he has made overdose prevention and harm reduction a key interest in the work that he does in his community. He uses his experience with addiction and recovery to help reduce the stigma of people that use drugs and people in recovery.
