Dr. Kelley McNichols earned an undergraduate degree in Criminology and Pre-Law from Indiana University of Pennsylvania, a Master of Science in Education with a concentration in Community Counseling from Duquesne University, and a Ph.D. in Counselor Education and Supervision from Duquesne University. Dr. McNichols is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), National Certified Counselor (NCC), Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor (CADC), Certified Co-Occurring Disorder Professional (CCDP), and Certified Clinical Trauma Professional (CCTP). She holds a certificate in clinical supervision for addiction professionals obtained through the National Association for Alcoholism and Drug Abuse Counselors (NAADAC). Dr. McNichols is an Assistant Professor at Waynesburg University currently serving in the roles of Assistant Director of Graduate Counseling programs and Assistant Clinical Coordinator. She has served as an evaluator with the Armstrong, Indiana, Clarion Drug and Alcohol Commission supporting MOUD expansion efforts under the State Opioid Response funding from the Pennsylvania Commission on Crime and Delinquency in a rural county jail since 2020.
