Delesha Carpenter is an Associate Professor in the Division of Pharmaceutical Outcomes and Policy at the Eshelman School of Pharmacy at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Her educational background includes clinical training in respiratory therapy and public health. She is particularly interested in increasing pharmacist provision of harm reduction services, especially in rural areas. Two of her current projects focus on improving naloxone and buprenorphine access in rural community pharmacies. She has authored more than 135 peer-reviewed publications and her funding portfolio includes projects supported by government agencies, private foundations, and industry.
