Mary Sammon is an Assistant Statewide Prosecutor with the Florida Attorney General's Office of Statewide Prosecution in the Orlando Bureau. Mary earned her bachelor's degree from the Ohio State University and her law degree from Barry University School of Law in Orlando, Florida. In 2016, Mary began working with the Office of Statewide Prosecution, prosecuting a variety of crimes to include: drug trafficking, human traffikcing, organized fraud, grand theft, robbery, burglary, and racketeering. Eventually, Mary began working closely with the Metropolitan Bureau of Investigation, an organized crime task force, to assist with drug trafficking and organized crime wire-tap investigations. Mary has prosecuted extremely violent offenders to include suspected murderers, criminal gang members, and drug traffickers with cartel ties. She is versed in prosecutions involving extraordinary investigative techniques to include cellular wire-taps, social media wire-taps, and break-in wire taps that typically result in lengthy minimum/mandatory and life sentences.
