Libby Jones serves as the Program Director of the Overdose Prevention Initiative at the Global Health Advocacy Incubator (GHAI). The Overdose Prevention Initiative is dedicated to advancing federal policies that address the disparities, inequities, and stigma in the SUD treatment system, advocating for changes that prevent overdose deaths and improve the lives of people across the U.S. Libby came to GHAI from the Pew Charitable Trusts, where she led federal advocacy efforts for Pew’s Substance Use Prevention and Treatment Initiative. An expert on federal advocacy, Libby has also held positions in congressional relations at the Food and Drug Administration, U.S. Department of Commerce, and U.S. Department of Justice. A native of West Virginia, she received a B.A. in Government from the College of William and Mary and a Master of Science in Human Rights from the London School of Economics.
