Maria Bledsoe serves as the Chief Executive Officer for Central Florida Cares Health System, Inc., a non-profit, managing entity, that manages the state and federal funded mental health and substance use disorder system of care in Brevard, Orange, Osceola, and Seminole counties. Maria has over 30 years of experience in the criminal justice and social services system, which include organizational operations, contract management, business administration, project management, performance management, strategic planning, and staff management. She has successfully developed, led, managed, implemented, and monitored strategic objectives, projects, services, programs, budgets, grants, and contracts achieving the highest level of efficiency, cost-effectiveness, compliance, and accountability. Ms. Bledsoe works collaboratively with senior leadership, provider service network, the community, and government agencies. She is mission driven, focusing on strengthening performance, improving operational controls, and promoting best practice for the community. Ms. Bledsoe holds a master’s degree in criminal justice from the University of Central Florida.
