Professional background includes nearly 30 years of working in the social services arena as counselor, program manager, grant director, and agency executive team member. Michael is dedicated to the safety, well-being, and permanency of children and families’ and recovery for those impacted by emotional and behavioral health needs. Michael has experience in building strong teams, in collaborating with others, and in partnership development. He has extensive experience in working in community mental health, public child welfare, the private provider continuum network, and partnership development with key stakeholders in rural communities.
Michael has been Project Director for the RCORP-Planning award of 2018, the RCORP-NAS award of 2020, and the recently awarded RCORP-BHS. He provides the overall leadership to consortiums and facilitates collaborative input across consortium members to fulfill proposed project activities in the work plan and HRSA-required reporting requirements.
