Pamela A. Mautte, MS, is a dedicated leader in the field of health, wellness, and prevention, serving as the director of BHcare’s Alliance for Prevention and Wellness. With over two decades of experience, she has been instrumental in developing specialized programs aimed at reducing the risk of substance misuse and promoting mental health across diverse populations.
Ms. Mautte's passion for substance misuse prevention and mental health promotion has led her to spearhead the development, funding acquisition, and implementation of impactful initiatives. She is known for her ability to build and lead coalitions and task forces, addressing critical behavioral health issues and advocating for policy changes at both organizational and legislative levels.
Her extensive education and training encompass a range of evidence-based curriculums, and she has been featured in national drug education videos while also contributing to curriculum development. Ms. Mautte shares her expertise through presentations, training sessions, and as an adjunct professor, reaching professionals nationwide.
In addition to her role at BHcare, Ms. Mautte serves as the President of the CT Prevention Network and holds leadership positions in various community health improvement initiatives. She is recognized for her commitment to excellence and holds certifications as a Master Certified Health Educator Specialist, Certified Prevention Specialist, Mental Health First Aid Trainer, CONNECT Suicide Prevention Trainer, QPR Trainer, Domestic Minor Sex Trafficking/Child Sex Exploitation Trainer, and Dialogue Educator.
