Creativity and design are involved in every facet of a quilt. Sarah Bond and e bond are both artists and makers. Sarah Bond is a celebrated quilt designer and teacher. e bond is a graphic artist, a book maker, and has recently designed two fabric lines for Free Spirit Fabrics. This team lecture will be about inspiration and design, as well as a family legacy of creativity. e will share her process from idea through design versions to finished fabric. Sarah will then share her view of these fabrics and how to best bring them into a finished quilt, combining them with solid fabrics and various techniques to arrive at finished designs that showcase their beauty and honor their original inspiration. Attendees are sure to experience a great conversation about inspiration, process, and design. NOTE: All lectures will take place in the Westin Peachtree Ballroom, approximately a 5-10 minute walk from the quilt show building.
