Reverse appliqué is a great technique to showcase in modern quilts, and can make your work truly original. Students will work with multiple templates to make a dandelion motif appliqué on a large piece of background fabric, learning how to trace the motif on the fabric, use freezer paper as an outline, fold the appliqué seam in place nicely, and baste and sew the appliqué. By project completion and with Satomi’s tips and tricks, students will build confidence with motif reverse appliqué! Sewing machines provided!
