Curated but scrappy, controlled but lively – how can we work with scraps to make a quilt that tells a compelling color story? There's color of course, but what else should we notice about scraps as we audition them for our quilt? Come and learn how Rossie processes scraps and combines them in her improv quilts. In addition to thinking about colors and prints, students will learn how to build improv quilts in rows, columns, and chunks. Sewing machines provided!
