In a world where our understanding of justice, diversity, equity, and inclusion is rapidly expanding, how are we doing as a modern quilt community? In this lecture, learn about why the modern quilt community is the perfect place to embrace diversity, equity, and inclusion. We'll check in with what is going right in modern quilting, what can be improved, and where we can make change. Most importantly, together we will start to think creatively about what we want our community to look like in the future - in regards to guilds, quilts, fabric, and the quilting industry as a whole. This is a chance to dream together and radically re-imagine what we are capable of. NOTE: All lectures will take place in the Westin Peachtree Ballroom, approximately a 5-10 minute walk from the quilt show building.
