Required Supplies: 1. A sheet of Watercolor paper (180 - 200 gr) or any thick paper (A4 size)
2. Paper scissors, pencil, binding clips (2), masking tape. Shared scissors will be provided but Carolina suggest you may want to bring your own.
3. Glue stick for basting.
4. Fine point scissors for fabrics. Shared scissors will be provided but Carolina suggest you may want to bring your own to maximize class time.
5. Thin needle (ex. BOHIN number 9 or your favorite)
6. Thin thread in a neutral color (I use decobob (80 wt) or invisafil (100 wt) from Wonderfil Specialty Thread)
7. 5 different fabrics, you can choose one of the options below:
-5 different colors that are analogous in the color wheel (two primary colors and the three colors between them, ex: red, red-orange,orange,yellow-orange, yellow)
-5 different values (from dark to light) of one color (hue)
8.- A 6th fabric in any color that you want (it will be your background)
Fabric size: You should have one fat eight, or a 10” square of each color
Optional Supplies: Extra set of fabrics so you have more option to pick colors for creating your mini block.
Prep Requirements: Bring your fabrics already pressed
