Twelve Fat Quarters of fabric within one color family (I recommend a mix of solids and prints). You will not necessarily be using all of the fabric, but I recommend this much to have a good variety. Four lights Four midtones Four darks

Scraps that match your color family
Fabric Scissors, shared scissors will be provided but you may wish to bring your own to maximize your class time and experience.
Coordinating thread for your color family (neutral is fine, neutral thread will be provided in the room but you may bring coordinating thread if you'd like)
This workshop teaches how to improvisationally piece using scraps to make a striking color shift. The workshop teaches how to look at fabric in terms of hue and value, as well as beginner friendly foundational improv piecing skills. This technique is perfect for stash busting and scrap busting, and teaches how to use fabric color and value to your advantage. Sewing machines provided!
