Large scale prints sure can be soul-pleasing, but they can also be difficult to fit into some quilt designs. Sarah loves points and switchbacks and repetition in design but also wants to use large scale prints, so in exploring the Glyphs fabric line by e bond, Sarah has found a way to do both. This foundation pieced design features larger areas to showcase large-scale printed fabrics, alternating points to play fabrics against one another and draw the eye across alternating fabrics. It also features curves to unite certain fabric combinations and, well, because everyone loves curves, right? Students can go long and narrow, like the example project, or use the elements in any composition they choose. Master this pattern and use it as it is, or adjust it to suit your design needs and make it your own. Sewing machines provided!
