Learn the basics of designing an FPP pattern using Adobe Illustrator on iPad with Apple Pencil. Students will choose one of the provided illustrations, learn how to see some basic shapes in the context of sewing order, translate those shapes for sewing by drawing straight lines, then compile them into a pattern layout for printing. If you are experienced in FPP but are new to designing FPP or to Adobe Illustrator software, this workshop is for you! This is a hands-on iPad workshop and students must bring their own personal iPad, installed with the latest version of Adobe Illustrator, along with an Apple Pencil. Students should have strong tech literacy skills. This is a no-sew workshop.
