Required Supplies: 1. Laptop computer with EQ8 (Electric Quilt 8) installed and activated* prior to class. This class is specific to EQ8 so you must have EQ8 installed, not EQ7 or another older version.

* To make sure your EQ8 is ready, please log onto the computer you will be using in class at least a week before you leave home. Make sure that your computer is connected to the Internet and then open EQ8. This will validate your EQ license if you have not used this computer and/or EQ8 in a while. Activation happens behind the scenes when the computer is connected to the internet. It’s very important to do this before class as we will not have time in class to get EQ8 activated and working properly. Ready to design modern quilts using EQ8? Learn how to use the three different quilt layouts - Horizontal Grid, Horizontal/Vertical Strip, and Custom - to get modern quilt ideas out of your sketchbook and into EQ8. This is an intermediate EQ8 workshop, which assumes that students have a basic understanding of EQ8 and can navigate the program well. This is a hands-on computer workshop and students must bring their own laptop computer, and power supply with EQ8 already installed. Students should have strong tech literacy skills. This is a no-sew workshop.
