Saeksilnubi, colored thread quilting is a Korean traditional craft that uses two layers of fabrics, cords made with hanji (Korean mulberry paper), and colorful threads to make the quilted texture. Hanji cord or cotton cord were used as batting or stuffing. Saeksilnubi was used to make practical objects such as small pouches, pin cushions, glasses cases, and paper sock patterns.
