Quilting, modern quilting, the MQG, and I have been on interesting intersecting paths in the past decade and beyond. Let’s retrace our steps from the Flickr days to QuiltCons, from rural Alabama to Maine, and from the front page of the Los Angeles Times to the walls of the Smithsonian American Art Museum. We’ll talk about the quilts that bind us in community together -- in the past, present, and future. NOTE: All lectures will take place in the Westin Peachtree Ballroom, approximately a 5-10 minute walk from the quilt show building.
