Sanjana Satish is a fourth year MD/MPH student at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine. She is applying for obstetrics and gynecology residency this year. Her research interests span many different areas of OBGYN including family planning, urogynecology, oncology, and infectious disease. Her urogynecology research includes assessing the use of clean catch vs. catherized samples in assessing hematuria and presence of microbes and disparities in pelvic floor disorder, genitourinary pain, and urinary symptoms. She has previously presented this work at the 2023 SUFU meeting, 2023 AUA meeting, and the 2023 IUGA meeting. She also had an e-poster accepted to the 2022 AUGS/IUGA meeting.
