Dr. Youngstrom attendeded medical school at University of Alabama at Birmingham, and went on to complete her residency at Emory University. She is currently an FPMRS Fellow at Emory University. She has particular research interest in transgender care and trans health, specifically pelvic pain and pelvic floor disorders amongst gender diverse individuals.
