Gini Ikwuezunma, M.D., MSCR is a Urogynecology fellow at Oklahoma University Health Sciences Center. He graduated with a Bachelor’s in Biology and Cell Biology from the University of Georgia. He completed his Medical degree and Master’s in clinical translation research at the Medical University of South Carolina Health Sciences Center. He was distinguished with the Banov Award for his International work in Haiti, Jamaica, Uganda and Tanzania. He completed his residency at Meharry Medical College. He has a passion for education, and has contributed to developing cadaver-based courses during training. His current research interests include leveraging augmented reality for simulation-based training, urethral diverticulum, management of pelvic floor disorders after gynecologic malignancy, and sonographic imaging of pelvic floor disorders in the fourth trimester.
