Nuha Khalfay is a fourth-year medical student at The David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA. She is applying to Obstetrics and Gynecology residency programs this fall. Within the field of OB/Gyn, she is particularly interested in urogynecology and FPMRS. Her research has been focused on disparities in insurance coverage of medication treatment for pelvic floor disorders, surgical site infection prevention, and on UTI misdiagnosis and overtreatment. Prior to medical school, Nuha graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Public Health and French from The University of California, Berkeley in 2019, and completed a public policy fellowship at the City and County of San Francisco. She is passionate about reproductive justice and increasing access to healthcare for women.
