Cleveland Clinic
CLEVELAND HEIGHTS , Ohio, United States
Dr. Sara Rahman, MD, is currently a first-year urogynecology fellow at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation in Cleveland, Ohio. She completed her undergraduate degree in Near Eastern Studies and Biology at Cornell University. After undergrad, Dr. Rahman spent two years working as an HIV researcher, tester, and counselor at Project BRIEF at Jacobi Medical Center in the Bronx, NY. Her stigmatized patients were mostly from underserved communities; advocating for her patients ignited a passion that led her to pursue a career in medicine. She attended the Frank H. Netter MD School of Medicine at Quinnipiac University and completed her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at George Washington University (GWU). Dr. Rahman spent the subsequent year at GWU as the Medical Education Fellow, where in addition to being clinical staff, she enhanced the medical student and resident education curriculums and received a Certificate in Leadership with a focus on medical education from the GWU Graduate School of Education and Human Development.
