My name is Alejandro Gomez-Viso and I'm the senior urogynecology fellow at Duke Medical Center. I am originally from Caracas, Venezuela. I attended college at the University of Miami and then completed my medical school and residency trainings at New York University. While at Duke, my research has focused on patient-reported outcome tools, the urobiome and recurrent UTIs, and post-OASIS care. I have also had the opportunity to get exposure to surgical techniques to restore normal vaginal anatomy in the setting of congenital differences and obliterative conditions. My goal is to relocate to South Florida after my training.
