Dr. Mallika Anand is a board-certified urogynecologist and Assistant Professor of Obstetrics, Gynecology, and Reproductive Biology at Harvard Medical School. Dr. Anand completed medical school and residency at Washington University in St. Louis and her fellowship in Urogynecology at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota. She serves as the Director of the Center for Intimate Health and Wellness at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston, Massachusetts, where her nearly a third of her practice is focused on female sexual function concerns. At the Center for Intimate Health and Wellness, she developed a curriculum on sexual medicine and runs a rotation for students, residents, and fellows. In 2021, she directed a course at AUGS PFD Week called “Sexual Medicine for the Urogynecologist.” As a passionate educator, she has conducted multiple roundtables and grand rounds to educate healthcare professionals across multiple disciplines about female sexual function and dysfunction.
