Dr. Shauna Regan, she/her, is a PGY5 resident in Obstetrics and Gynaecology at the University of Alberta and is a settler of mixed descent in Treaty 6 Territory, Amiskwacîwâskahikan, known also as Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. Before residency, she obtained a Bachelor of Science in Physiology with Honors and a Doctor of Medicine Degree at the University of Alberta and she recently completed a Master of Applied Science in Patient Safety and Quality Assurance at Johns Hopkins University. She is passionate about delivering equitable, compassionate, evidence-based medicine, particularly for patients from indigenous and inner-city backgrounds. Working with Dr. Sanaee and the urogynecology group has been an amazing experience for her, providing an opportunity to gain hands-on experience with Quality Improvement. She is looking forward to staring a career as a generalist OBGYN.
