Dr. Diana Vazquez Parker, MD is a resident physician at Jamaica Hospital Medical Center in Queens, NY. She is interested in provider education by establishing a baseline understanding of pelvic anatomy and empowering critical thinking to manage complex obstetric complications. Initially, a midwest native; she obtained her Bachelor of Science in both Biochemistry and French at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, then went on to complete her medical degree at Rush Medical College of Rush University in Chicago, IL. She developed an interest in working with diverse populations, which spurred her move east to New York City. She aims to focus her research to help providers not only improve their technical skills, but also feel confident to culturally and conceptually counsel patients on how to manage sequelae associated with obstetric complications.
