Alexandra Chavez, mother of four rambunctious children, is a third year Medical Student at the Mayo Clinic Alix School of Medicine in Arizona. She is a born and raised New Yorker that received her undergraduate degree in mathematics from the City University of New York. Alexandra is passionate about improving health literacy among underserved Latinas especially with regards to pelvic floor disorders. Current specialty interests include obstetrics and gynecology as well as radiology. In her spare time she enjoys baking gluten-free sourdough bread and brewing kombucha.
