Myofascial Frequency Syndrome (MFS) is characterized by a symptom complex of urinary urge and frequency in concert with obstructive symptoms. While MFS may overlap with overactive bladder (OAB) in presentation, the symptoms are distinct and driven by pelvic floor dysfunction, requiring careful diagnostic consideration and treatment approaches. The Persistency Index identifies patients with MFS using questionnaire data and confirms the unique symptom profile seen in MFS.
